From the South

M6 – junction 19. Take the A556 (right) towards Altrincham and Manchester Airport. Less than one mile on the right hand side is the entrance to Mere Golf and Country Club. Get in the right hand land approaching the double set of traffic lights. Do not turn first right towards Knutsford, but continue towards a gap in the central reservation and turn right into archway before the nest set of lights.

From Manchester, Stockport M62/M56 etc.

M56 – Junction 7. Take the A556 filter lane following Tatton Park signs. After approximately one mile, at the first set of traffic lights, with Swan Hotel on left hand side, continue across (not towards Tatton Park). At the next set of lights after approximately ¾ mile, turn sharp left into Mere Golf and Country Club entrance.

By Train

Manchester Piccadilly is the nearest main line station and is approximately 30-40 minutes from Mere Golf & Country Club. From Piccadilly a connection is available to:

Knutsford Station - which is only 5-10 minutes from Mere. Please note that there is no taxi rank at Knutsford Station. See below for local taxi numbers.

Stockport Station - approx 20-30 minutes from Mere
Manchester Airport Station - approx 20-30 minutes
