Golf Membership
As a golf member you are entitled to use all the club facilities, including the leisure club.

Mere Golf Club is run along traditional lines, with separate Ladies and Gentlemen’s sections. The Captain of the club has a council of elected members who manage the handicaps, organise the full calendar of golf competitions, including Trophies, Cups and Prize competitions, and organise the many social events. The Ladies section is similarly run, with the Lady Captain heading a committee of lady members.
There are Gentlemen’s competitions every Saturday, with a club medal held on a Wednesday during the summer months. The Ladies hold their competitions every Friday throughout the year. There are many Invitation and Festival days held throughout the year and many social events. Both the Ladies and Gentlemen’s sections enter teams into local scratch and handicap inter-club tournaments.
